Duncan had made himself a career in the NBA with setting record after record. Duncan
played his entire career with the San Antonio Spurs organization and for his
time on the Spurs this was known as the Duncan Era.

During the Duncan Era which was a 19 year stretch the San Antonio Spurs won a total of 1,072 games. The organization only lost a total of 438 in those 19 seasons. This coming out to a winning percentage of 71%. Which is the highest by any professional sports team during this time period. This winning percentage is the best 19 year stretch in NBA history.

The Spurs during the Duncan Era had a dominant trio of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker. This Trio won a span of 575 regular season games being the most by any group of three in the NBA. one of three players to win NBA Rookie of the Year, NBA MVP, NBA Finals MVP,
NBA All-Star Game MVP, and the Wooden Award. The only other players to do this
was Larry Bird and Michael Jordan. Which the two players were small forward and
shooting guard. So, these achievements Duncan won shows you why his is the best
power forward to ever play the game of Basketball. He didn’t only play one side
of the ball, but he was a two-way player. He put up great offensive numbers as
well as gave great defensive pressure. He has a total of five NBA championships
under his belt. When the Spurs drafted him 1st overall in the 1997
NBA Draft, they got a one-of-a-kind player with great leadership and
fundamentals. There is no question in why Duncan is the best power forward of
all time with all this data to back this up . There has never been a power
forward like him in the league there has been more athletic better scores, but
nothing compared to what he brough to the Spurs organization for his 19 years
in the league.
